Our Vision
To positively impact the lives of students who are striving to achieve a purposeful education and to enhance the communities of the Coachella Valley and beyond, by providing them with the professional benefits of our skilled graduates.

Our Value
"California's community colleges constitute the largest educational system in the United States. There are 109 colleges total, serving more than 2.6 million students. That compares with fewer than 500,000 students for California state universities and about 215,000 for the University of California. California's community colleges, in short, are largely responsible for educating the state's citizens beyond high school.
 "
(August 2, 2009 Glen Martin, SF Chronicle)

The Mission of the Foundation is to enhance the quality of higher education in the Coachella Valley and encourage public and private support for College of the Desert.
